i.sparks started off his music Career as a Hip Hop MC, then quickly developed a taste for music production and turntablism , performing alongside many local bands and producers while also developing his own solo career.
His music is a unique blend of trip hop, abstrakt hip hop and new electro. The influence of his early days in music is very obvious through his astoute choice of strong minimal beats and catchy vocal samples, which make his style difficult to throw in any mainstream genre.
In his live performances, i.sparks blends live music arrangement with a lot of scratching and sampling and often gets local musicians to add their live touch to his music.
i.sparks is currently working on releasing his first album which will consist of a blend of many styles he has been working on during his 10 year experience in the Lebanese underground music scene. His latest endeavor consists of composing the original soundtrack of “Butterflies”, a short film by Gilles Tarazi, planned to be produced in Spring 2006.
